A great collection of short stories by the superb SF writer, Harlan Ellison. Each story will take you for a ride and force you to really think about what you're reading. It really is a somewhat complex book to follow. I re-read each story at least once and came out feeling different and learning something new each time. Stories I didn't understand at first became apparent after re-reading and thinking a little differently.
Includes seven stories, my favorites being: The title story, Eyes of Dust, and Pretty Maggie Moneyeyes. I've noticed a lot of people calling Harlan Ellison sexist. I am by no means sexist and it hadn't even crossed my mind that the book was sexist. Ellison is simply truthful, but I do no see him as very much sexist.
